London-based photographer Rich McCor has captured the internet's attention with his incredible photos of British cityscapes reimagined as scenes out of Disney films.

The 29-year-old who lives in Battersea — also known as @paperboyo on Instagram, where he has 138k followers — held up paper cutouts of characters from films like "Peter Pan" and "Beauty and the Beast" in front of landmarks such as London's Big Ben and Liverpool's Albert Dock to create gorgeous silhouettes.

McCor has been experimenting with photography and paper cutting for years. "But it was only last summer that it occurred to me to combine the two," he told Business Insider over email.

His latest project was created for the digital entertainment membership service DisneyLife — the films that are most popular with members have been included in the project.

"A few of my photos already had a Disney theme, even before this collaboration, because many Disney scenes are so iconic," McCor said. "So when Disney asked me if I'd like to create some scenes for them it was easy to say yes."

"It was great fun trying to explain to passerbys [sic] why I was holding up bits of black paper in front of my camera ('Oh, I'm just doing a job for Disney')," he said.

Next, McCor is planning to go to Hong Kong in April to work on content for its tourist board, as well as New York in May. "I'd love to be in Rio for the Olympics to create some sport themed cutouts so I'm trying to find a way to make that happen," he said.
